Women
The Women’s Ministry at Parkway exists to bring glory to God by helping women grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage women as they face the challenges of life, provide an environment for women to fellowship with one another, help one another, and love one another. The very heart of this ministry is to know God through His Word. Weekly Bible studies are offered to teach and equip women to know God’s Word and apply it to their lives.
Opportunities for ministry and special events are available throughout the year to encourage women to use their spiritual gifts in service to those within our church body and those beyond our walls. What a privilege it is to be the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus for His glory!
God has graciously blessed the Women's Ministry at Parkway. Jesus’ prayer on our behalf just before He went to Calvary was, “that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent” (John 17:3). The goal of Paul’s life was “that I may know Him” (Phil. 3:10). That has been the goal of the current Ladies’ Bible Study--to know Him. It has been exciting to see how God has revealed Himself in His Word. As a result of knowing Him, lives are being changed for His glory.
In 2 Peter 1:3 we read, "seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence." God's Word says that He has given to us everything we need to live the Christian life. What an awesome promise to believers!
The "true knowledge of Him" comes from the study of His Word. The women's ministry is offering several opportunities for you to join us for Bible study.
